Came together
When my eyes laid on "little to no"
Opening a door
That shows
Me to me

Yesterday marked another trip around the sun for your humble blogger. What's been on my mind is this- it's a blessing I (at least try not to) take for granted. A lot of things in life aren't guaranteed, including health and long life. At the same time, being human and fallible, there's always the possibility of taking those things for granted. Thus, your humble blogger tries to do the best she can with what she's got.
Blessings,

It's primary election day in your humble blogger's state of Michigan and in Arizona, Kansas , Washington and Missouri. It thus behooves me to stress the importance of voting in primary and local elections as a lot of policies that affect us directly can be found on the ballot in these elections. The following MSNBC article gives a great overview of what is and who are on the ballot in today's election.

Please forgive your humble blogger for failing to post last month. There's really no excuse. However, it was on my mind to celebrate (belatedly) National Lipstick Day. Of all forms of makeup, lip products are my fave, so here some of the faves and brands preferred by yours truly:
Your humble blogger has to admit it hasn't been easy to come up with something to talk about. In the midst of everything going on in the world, it feels like there needs to be a balm in the Gilead, and I don't have that. What I can do, though, is share a little bit of light in the form of something that happened recently. A friend of mine on Twitter had a mask giveaway and I decided to participate. Today, they finally came in
Until next time.
Your humble blogger just got through a journaling session and a question came to mind that just begged to be shared:
Who would you be if you didn't hold yourself back?
I, know, I know. It sounds hokey or new age or self help guru-ish. The fact is, though, we get in our own way a lot of times. And, it doesn't hurt to be reminded of that so we can see beyond to our true potential.
